The Wyatt family has run "The Lake" for the last 45 years and is currently run as a b&b by Richard and Carol Wyatt, and a bunch of eager-to-please staff.

Comfort and service come first here in a very quiet and relaxed atmosphere. We offer a great breakfast here and we try to source local produce to support local farmers, including Isle of Wight milk and free range eggs.

We find ourselves of being in a position of being the only dog friendly place to stay in Bonchuch on the IOW. We have always accommodated dogs at the Lake on the IOW. Quality Isle of Wight Dog friendly place are hard to find and we have many returning customers with their dogs. We have 4 ground floor rooms that are ideal for guests with dogs. Our beach in Bonchurch is only 400 yards down the road and many walks can be taken from our grounds. A dog friendly isle of wight hotel is a good term to find accommodation. The word Isle can be wrong too with Ilse being used instead of Isle. Hotel or Hotels are some of the words that are never spelt wrongly thank goodness. Of course Wight is another matter - see below!
